2023 HOST WELCOME
On behalf of the Cataraqui Soccer Club, welcome once again to Kingston, Ontario and the 44th Annual Can-Am Friendship Soccer Tournament. I hope you will all enjoy another great weekend of fun, friendship and football in our city.
Those who have participated in this tournament before know that it is very unique. While we are all here for spirited competition on the pitch, we foster great friendships off of it. It is the camaraderie of the Can-Am Friendship Tournament which sets it apart from all others. I hope you will all take the time to meet with new faces, and renew friendships with the more familiar ones.
Kingston has a lot to offer travellers. We are blessed with a beautiful waterfront and some great historical attractions like Fort Henry. I also encourage you to check out our downtown. While there, be sure to visit The Toucan Pub, between Wellington and King Streets, for a pint. The Toucan has sponsored the Cataraqui Soccer Club for decades and I know they will be happy to see you.
I also would like to thank all of the volunteers who have helped to make this weekend the success I hope it will be. I look forward to seeing all of you again and meeting some new faces as well. Here's to another Can-Am Friendship Tournament!
